In the Articles section, you can add your posts, such as free tutorials, descriptions, patterns, and more.
- Adding a New Article
To add a new article, go to the top right corner of the Articles section and click the Add New button. Then, fill in the fields with the title, brief description, and the main content. Add a featured image for the article. - Category and Tags
Select the appropriate category (the categories are divided by types of crafts) and add relevant tags. - Adding a Link to Your Store
Since the article page will not display which store or vendor published the article, we recommend adding a link to your store at the beginning of each article. Including a link to your store and writing articles will significantly increase your store’s visibility, traffic to your store page, and potentially lead to more sales. - Adding Photos to Articles
You can also add images to the body of your article.
- Publishing the Article
After filling out all the fields, click the Submit button in the bottom right corner to publish the article. If you’re not done yet, you can save it as a draft for later. To save as a draft, click the Draft button.
- Managing Your Articles
In the Articles section, you will see a list of all the articles you’ve created, along with the number of views and the publication date.- To quickly view any article, click the eye icon next to the article.
- To edit an article, click the pencil icon. After making changes, don’t forget to click Submit in the bottom right corner to save your updates.
- To delete an article, click the trash icon. Bulk deletion of articles is not available, so you’ll need to delete them one by one.
- Related Articles
If you’ve published multiple articles, the page of each article will include a Related Articles section at the bottom, showing other articles you have published.
Why Publish Articles?
Publishing articles (tutorials, guides, photo instructions) related to the craft in your online store is a great way to increase your visibility and attract new customers to your store.
