How to Log into Your Stripe Account

A. Logging in Without Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

1. Open your web browser and go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/login.
2. Enter your registered email address and password.
3. Click “Continue” or “Log in”.
4. You will be redirected to your Stripe Dashboard.

B. Logging in With Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

If 2FA is enabled (How to enable 2FA), after entering your email and password, you will need to complete an additional security step:

• Using SMS Authentication:
  1. Stripe will send a 6-digit code to your registered phone number.
  2. Enter the code in the verification field and click “Continue”.
• Using an Authentication App (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.):
  1. Open your authenticator app.
  2. Find the 6-digit code for Stripe.
  3. Enter the code in the verification field and click “Continue”.
• Using Backup Codes (if you lost access to 2FA device):
  1. Click “Use a backup code”.
  2. Enter one of your previously saved backup codes.
  3. Click “Continue”.

✅ After successful login, you will land on the Stripe Dashboard.

🚨IMPORTANT NOTICE! 🚨

Each Stripe account can only be linked to one store and one platform.

If you open another store, whether on DIY Markt or any other platform, you must create a new Stripe account within your existing Stripe panel and connect it to your second store.

⚠️ What happens if you don’t?
Trying to connect multiple stores or platforms to the same Stripe account will result in automatic disconnection of all stores from the payment system, preventing you from accepting payments.

✅ Example:

• You connect your Stripe account to Shop “A” on DIY Markt.
• Later, you open Shop “B”, either on DIY Markt or another platform.
• Solution: Shop “B” must be linked to a different Stripe account than Shop “A”.

Always use a separate Stripe account for each store to avoid disruptions in payment processing.
